Made to be sturdy and beautiful, our yoga bag will get the attention of everyone in the studio. Fully lined with a sturdy draw string, our yoga bag fits all standard yoga mats. These beautiful, one-of-a-kind bags are made by refugee women who have been resettled to Bridgeport, Connecticut. Through the Our Woven Community program, refugee women learn how to sew and are able to earn a small income. Each item is made with one piece of African fabric along with other designer donated fabric and is tagged with the story of the artist who made it. They make amazing gifts either for yourself or someone you love.
All proceeds from the sale of this item goes to the Our Woven Community artists and program through the Burroughs Community Center in Bridgeport, CT.
